Making a Splash for Dementia UK!

This June, I’ve committed to swim 10,000 metres to support Dementia UK, a charity that provides vital specialist support for families affected by dementia. 

It’s a condition that touches many lives and the need for compassionate care and ongoing research has never been greater. 

My mother-in-law passed away from Alzheimers and my mother has mild cognitive disorder which can develop into full blown dementia so this is a cause close to my heart.

So far I’ve swum 6,000 metres, and will complete the 10,000 metres by the end of this month.
