AI Tips for Business Owners & the Importance of Goal Setting
AI Tips for Marketers
Do you use AI in your marketing?
Some people love it and others not so much, I am in the former camp and really enjoy using the new platforms and experimenting.
Here are some things I’ve found useful that you could try out (if you haven’t already!).
Research: Thanks to AI, deep marketing research is no longer just for those with deep budgets. Using AI for research purposes saves time and generates multiple sources in minutes. Always check out the sources yourself to make sure they are credible!
Social media Content: ChatGPT and others can provide you with ideas for social media planning quickly. Make sure you prompt it with the specific areas you want to focus on. Then tailor the output to ensure it reflects your tone of voice and brand values.
Create your own GPTs: This is easy to do and great for specific deep-dive work on a particular subject or market as well as competitor research.
Write your own blog or newsletter and then ask AI to optimise it for Google.
Create documents and slide decks in generative AI tools.
Use Google LM for research on a specific topic.
Monitor competitor messaging, content and social media activity.
Identify trends in your industry or market to keep you ahead of the competition.
TIP: Always use your own voice!
There’s no point cutting and pasting content directly from AI as it’s really obvious when posts are created this way.
It’s still loads faster to have it generate post ideas that you then tailor and edit to reflect your own unique style.
Creating a Strategy
After the research, what really matters is using those insights to create a clear strategy for your business.
That’s where I come in using the combination of powerful AI research tools and years of marketing experience to provide you with actionable plans that get you the results you need.
The Importance of Reflection and Planning
I hope you all had a good rest over Easter.
I went to see family in Ireland for 10-days and am very lucky they live close to the beach so I can get away from screens and take long walks with family and dogs! 🐕🦺
It’s always easier to plan when you have a clear head and I usually come back from a break with loads of new ideas.
Planning for the quarter is an excellent way to make sure your business has shorter term goals that support your overall strategy, something I am working on myself.
Having been in business for almost 2-years, I have learnt a lot about the importance of good planning and having monthly and quarterly goals to keep you on track.
Even if you don’t have a big marketing budget, you can achieve loads of successful outcomes with good planning and the many free technology tools that are available. Most have a free starting plan, more on that in my next newsletter!
I am lucky to work with amazing clients who are experts in their fields and together we are able to grow their businesses and get focused on the things that matter to them.
If you are a business owner and need help with planning, marketing or goal setting, let me know, I have some remaining availability in May and June although it’s looking pretty busy!
